summaryGLAH08 contains the heights of planetary boundary layer (PBL) and aerosol layers for researchers. Elevated aerosol layer height data consist of top and bottom heights for up to 5 layers below 20 km and for up to 3 layers above 20 km. Each GLAH08 file was created from an equivalent GLA08 binary file. The data used to create the GLAH08 values are contained in the equivalent GLAHxx files for the GLAxx files. See the provenance metadata for the creation of the GLA08.
